Vigil to remember double homicide victims

HARDEEVILLE, SC (WTOC)- Over one hundred people came together singing and praying Wednesday night to remember Desmond Brown and Octavia Scott.

The young couple was found murdered on rural Purrysburg Road in Hardeeville Friday.

"This is so hard. It takes time and it's hard to swallow," Brown's friend Juliette Primus said.

Hardeeville Police say Brown and Scott were found with gunshot wounds to the head. Their car was crashed into a tree nearby.

"He doesn't ever take that road to go anywhere. It's so strange that he would end up dead," Primus said.
