Annual Poetry Out Loud contest set for Thursday in Ridgeland | Events
RIDGELAND, SC (WTOC) - If you're looking for something to do in the Lowcountry, you might want to check out the talent at the poetry contest going on Thursday in Ridgeland.
The national contest is held each year to encourage the nation's youth to learn about great poetry through memorization and recitation.
The 7th annual Poetry Out Loud Contest starts at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 13 at the Ridgeland-Hardeeville High School Auditorium in Ridgeland.
